Hi, I'm Christian Faria

I have been directing creative teams for the past 10 years.

I started my carrer in my hometown São Leopoldo, Brazil in a local agency. In 2001 I moved to Porto Alegre and worked for the biggest agency at the time, Escala, as a designer doing point of Sale. After 7 years I moved to São Paulo to work at JWT as a designer/art director working fo accounts such as Nestle, Ford, J&J, Diageo and later becoming Head of Art for the client Pernambucanas. In 2014 I changed to Dentsu Brazil as Head of Art working for Toyota, Nissin, Canon and Ajinomoto and then became Creative Director.

My work has been honored at Cannes, El Ojo, Fiap, CCSP, Wave among others.

Canon - Christmas

As we grow up, we start looking at the world through certain filters like prejudice, intolerance and hate. What if we could see the world without no filters?

Canon called kids and their parents for a social experiment. Without knowing what was going on, the adults shared their worries about prejudice to the camera while their children were being introduced to different kids to play together. On what could be a perfect scenario for prejudice, the kids showed the way they see the world: with no filter.

The videos reached 81MM impressions, 600K engagement, 400K shares and the main video was the number 1 Facebook post of December 2018, right in the middle of Christmas season.

 Integral Health

SulAmérica - New positioning

SulAmérica is the oldest insurance company in Brazil. In 2020 they changed their brand proposal from an ordinary health insurance to an Integral Health Insurance, taking care of our 3 healths, Physical, Emotional and Financial. Below is the launch campaign of this new thinking.

 ABC COLOR BLIND BOOK

Canon

In brazil, 8 % of boys are born with color blindness. Canon decided to help parents and teachers identify the problem sooner.

Inspired by the Ishira test created in 1917, we redesigned it’s shape for the present day. We created funnier images, added the alphabet and, to make it easier to access, we added it to the print test. The result is an ABC ColorBlind book – printable from the printer app – designed to help parents and their children to identify a problem while having fun.

 PEEL THE BOTTLE

Smirnoff - Caipiroska

Smirnoff is worldwide famous by its vodkas. In Brazil they have a special flavour that mix vodka with fruits, making Caipiroskas.

To launch the new package for this flavours, Smirnoff did an activation with influencers where they delivered a box with all the flavours with a special sleeve that the influencer would have the feeling of peeling the fruit.

Bimbo - Nutrella Bread Launch

Nutrella is the healthiest bread from Bimbo Company. It is made by 100% natural ingredients.

To launch this new products we did a parody with a very well kwon music "Bella Chiao”. And we showed the product in a way people usually don't see the ingredients.

 Nosso Sabor - Phase 1

To launch a new version of its Lamen in the northeast region of Brazil, Nissin decided to hire a band of kids from Maranhão that were making a lot of success doing cover version from famous song: Fundo de Quintal OFC

In Brazil Toyota had a gap on its line of products, between Corolla, a premium car, and Etios a more popular model. To solve this issue they decided to launch the Yaris. A medium size car specially designed for people who are starting their lives. So the Yaris is the right car for the right moment. Click below to watch

Sazón - Ajinomoto

Sazón is a traditional brand of seasonings in Brazil. It has been in the house of the Brazilians for the past 30 years, helping to spread love through food and gathering the family around the table.

On its 30th anniversary, Sazón launched a serie of 4 mini-docs showing how food can help spread the love independent of the situation.

A dream become real.

To launch the new platform of communication, "Chocolover”, Nestlé created a promotion converting their website into a dream chocolate factory. This had such a huge success that we transformed the real factory into an amazing tour showing in an amazing journey, the history and the process of the chocolate making in a fun way.
